CRA reviews, audits and notices, we’ll take it from here
A letter from the CRA doesn’t have to ruin your week. We review it, gather what’s needed, and correspond with the CRA on your behalf, calmly and correctly.

What CRA support includes
Most CRA notices are routine when handled properly and stressful when ignored. We interpret the request, assemble the documentation, and manage the back-and-forth so you can get on with running your business, and we fix the root cause so it doesn’t happen again.
CRA Support also means keeping the response practical. We separate urgent deadlines from routine requests, identify which records matter, and tell you when an adjustment, payment plan or professional escalation is the safer route. The goal is not to argue for the sake of arguing; it is to answer clearly, document the position and reduce the chance of the same issue returning.
CRA Support is strongest when the file is organized before the first reply is sent.
CRA Support begins by separating facts from fear. A notice may be asking for one receipt, a full document package, a payment plan, a corrected return or a formal objection. We identify the actual request, the deadline, the records needed and the safest response path before anything is sent.
We also check whether the notice points to a deeper issue. A missing receipt may reveal weak document habits. A sales tax question may reveal coding problems. A payroll letter may show remittances were posted late or to the wrong period. Fixing the root cause matters as much as answering the current request.
A short closing summary is included so you know what was sent, what changed and what to watch next.
That closing note also helps prevent repeat notices.

CRA questions we hear a lot
I got a CRA review letter, is this an audit?
Often it’s a routine review, not a full audit. Either way, a complete, well-organised response usually resolves it quickly. We handle both.
A CRA review is usually a document exercise, but the documents need to match the claim. We gather slips, invoices, bank records, mileage logs, medical forms, payroll reports, GST/HST support or bookkeeping schedules as needed, then organize them in a way that answers the question directly. Clear support often matters more than a long explanation.
The response package is kept focused. We do not bury CRA in unrelated documents; we send what supports the position, label it clearly and keep a copy of what was submitted. That helps if the file is reviewed again later.
Can you talk to the CRA for me?
Yes. With authorization on file, we correspond with the CRA directly so you don’t have to sit on hold or worry about saying the wrong thing.
CRA Support can include direct communication once authorization is in place. We call, write, upload records and track the file so you do not have to interpret every message alone. We still keep you informed, but we handle the back-and-forth in the language CRA expects.
What’s the Voluntary Disclosures Program?
The VDP lets you come forward about unfiled returns or unreported income, often reducing penalties. We’ll assess whether you qualify and manage the submission.
Voluntary disclosure is not for every CRA Support file. We first review whether the issue is truly voluntary, complete, overdue and potentially penalty-bearing. If the program fits, we prepare the disclosure carefully. If it does not, we choose a cleaner correction path instead of forcing the wrong tool.
I disagree with a reassessment. What can I do?
We can file a formal objection with supporting evidence and represent your position through the process.
Objections require a stronger CRA Support record because the issue has moved beyond a routine request. We review the notice of assessment or reassessment, identify the disputed point, prepare supporting evidence and keep the argument focused. The goal is a clear position, not a louder letter.
When an objection is needed, timing is critical. We check the deadline, the issue under appeal and the evidence available before recommending the next step. If a simpler adjustment request is enough, we will say that too.
