What’s included

What our bookkeeping services include

Good decisions start with good books. We keep your transactions categorised and your accounts reconciled every period, then send you a short, readable summary, so you always know where you stand without digging through spreadsheets.

Bookkeeping also gives each tax and payroll page a cleaner starting point, because the same numbers can be reused for GST/HST, T2, T1 and advisory work without rebuilding the file.

Bookkeeping is also the service that protects every other deadline. When bank accounts, credit cards, loans, payroll, GST/HST and owner transactions are reconciled each month, year-end tax work becomes a review instead of a rescue project. You can see cash flow earlier, spot missing deposits sooner and answer CRA questions with records instead of memory.

A good monthly routine also reduces questions at tax time. We keep notes on unusual transactions, owner purchases, loan payments, transfers, sales tax treatment and missing receipts while the details are still fresh. That record helps with corporate returns, personal returns, financing requests and CRA reviews because the explanation is already in the file.

Who it’s for

You’re in the right place if…

Software and AI accounting

Software and AI accounting setup

Clean bookkeeping starts with the right system. We set up cloud accounting, bank feeds, rules and review points so automation helps the file instead of hiding mistakes.

System setup matters because automation is only helpful when rules are reviewed. We build bank rules carefully, separate owner activity from business activity, check sales tax codes and keep the chart of accounts readable. The result is a file you can use for decisions, not just a file that balances.

Setup

QuickBooks or Xero setup

Chart of accounts, bank feeds, sales tax codes and owner draws configured for Canadian reporting.

Review

AI-assisted categorisation

Automation speeds up routine coding, while a human review catches unusual transactions before reports go out.

Controls

Monthly control points

Bank, credit-card, loan, payroll and GST/HST balances are reconciled so the books stay dependable.

Good to know

Bookkeeping questions we hear a lot

Both are excellent. We’ll recommend based on your industry, team and app stack, set it up properly, and manage it for you either way.

Bookkeeping software is chosen around how your business actually works. A consultant, clinic, contractor, e-commerce shop and real estate investor do not need the same chart of accounts or app stack. We look at bank feeds, invoices, receipts, sales tax, payroll and reporting needs before recommending QuickBooks, Xero or a simpler workflow.

Not for us, catch-up work is routine. We reconstruct the period, reconcile everything, and get you current calmly.

Catch-up Bookkeeping starts with a document map. We identify the missing bank statements, credit card statements, loan details, invoices, receipts, payroll reports and GST/HST filings, then rebuild the months in order. Once the old period is clean, we create a repeatable monthly rhythm so the file does not slide back again.

Once the backlog is cleaned up, we recommend a monthly close date and a simple document routine. That prevents the same catch-up problem from repeating and gives you reports you can actually rely on.

Yes. Bookkeeping pairs naturally with GST/HST filing and payroll, so it can all run as one tidy monthly cycle.

Bookkeeping and GST/HST should usually move together because sales tax cannot be filed confidently from incomplete books. We reconcile taxable sales, exempt sales, input tax credits and payments before the return is submitted. That makes the filing easier to defend if CRA asks for support.

However suits you, secure upload, a shared cloud folder, or photos on WhatsApp. We’re fully remote and flexible.

Remote Bookkeeping works when the routine is simple. We agree on where receipts go, how often bank feeds are reviewed, who answers transaction questions and when reports are delivered. You do not need to bring a box of papers to an office; you need a clear system that actually gets used.
