About our accounting approach
Too many owners are handed a tax bill and a shrug. We started a2z Financial Solutions to do the opposite: to keep your books clean, file everything on time, and then actually explain what it all means, in words you can repeat to a partner or a lender.
About a2z means explaining the file before filing it. We want clients to understand what was claimed, what was not claimed, what CRA may ask for and what should be improved before the next deadline. Clear accounting is not softer accounting; it is stronger because the reasoning is visible.
About the firm, the operating rule is simple: clients should know where they stand, what will happen next, what it will cost and what evidence supports the filing. That is how we keep the relationship practical and calm.
We’re fully cloud-based, which means we work with clients right across Canada, from Toronto to Calgary and everywhere between, using QuickBooks, Xero, Sage and Tally, plus AI-assisted tools that make the routine parts faster and more accurate.
About our remote process, the important part is access. Clients can send documents, ask questions and review results without rearranging a workday around an office visit. We keep the process practical, but still personal, with one responsible person who knows the file.
